Workshop
1-Day Workshop
The 1-day workshop provides a foundation in learner-centered education as well as practical and proven educational strategies that participants can use immediately with their students. At the end of the workshop, participants develop a specific plan to implement one or more strategies learned in the workshop. To extend their learning beyond the workshop, participants receive access to a web source of hundreds of innovative ways the workshop strategies have been employed by other educators across the curriculum (from Advising to Zoology and all educational roles in between).

| 2:45-4:00 | SESSION 4: ADDING TO YOUR LEARNER-CENTERED TOOLBOX Participants each design a personal plan to implement one or more of the nearly 100 learner-centered strategies provided in the workshop, as well as learning about the extensive On Course resources for supporting their ongoing efforts after the workshop to improve student learning, academic success and retention. |
